Was Game of Thrones filmed in Dubrovnik?

The city of Dubrovnik was a regular filming location for HBO’s Game of Thrones. The coastal city was the location for King’s Landing, the capital of Westeros in the epic fantasy. Dubrovnik’s maze of old stone streets, such as St Dominika Street, made it the perfect location for many scenes in King’s Landing. Pile, in the old town overlooking Bokar and Lovrijenac Fort, doubled for Blackwater Bay on the show, and The Ethnographic Museum was set for Littlefinger’s brothel, although the area is a lot less risqué in real life and tourists are welcome to explore the tunnels inside.
